why are blaser rifles so expensive

Rather, Blaser produces high-end gear for discriminating customers. I keep looking at pretty rifles, more expensive rifles and even cheaper rifles. I have owned both the R93 and now the R8, and they both have been great rifles.
They are versatile, can be made all sorts of fancy, have nice wood, are accurate and well-made and are all sorts of German.

I believe that to be true. Not perfect, but one of the best and most practical out there. I suspect one of the reasons they are so expensive is to enable the changing of calibers and barrels takes some pretty exacting engineering tolerances and mechanisms. Gunbroker does have a lot of them listed, but most are from the same shop. I believe that to be true.

I can't justify the cost and would have to sell some rifles to get one and that is a no-no. I just... If they are so good, why is that the gun auction sites have tons of them for sale? Was Blake retarded. Strong, fast, accurate and rugged.

With two big game calibers like 25-06 and 30-06 combined with a dangerous game caliber like .375 H & H most of my rifle needs would be satisfied.

They call the Blaser R 93 and R 8 "bolt action" rifles but, as you have apparently deduced, though they look like bolt guns, the way they operate is more like a pump action gun.

But Blaser does not pretend to be a value play. The R8 Blaser does it for me.

I'm not sure what rifle you were looking at for $14,000; some cost that much or even more but I've never paid close to that for a Blaser. 2. Was Blake deaf? No one else in my 125 person hunting club owns one. The trigger is indeed almost too light, but it isn't cocked until you push the "safety" forward, which is really a manual cocking lever. Curiousity...What makes Blaser rifles so expensive?

I've handled one. Even the cheap ones are expensive, and the expensive ones can be ridiculous.

To me it looks like the blue steel switch barrel blaser Wunder rifle would be ruined by the elements long before someones cheap SS Ruger. A pleasure to shoot and a joy to own.

Was Blake Deaf and retarded? Mainly because it is a switch barrel rifle and from what I've heard they are very accurate. No announcement yet.

Quite common in Europe, the Blaser R93 also has a smaller, but still loyal following … English (US) Could be the ultimate $3500 "bling" rifle! Obviously, the Blaser R8 is an expensive rifle.
