What do you think if we may have another realistic, memorable movie after Marriage’s Story.This is a story about a dilemma that takes place over less than 24 hours but felt like a century, to me. Despite the fact that my reading buddies liked this one a lot more than I did, it was still a fun buddy read. My goodness, what a HUGE disappointment this novel was! I just have so much fun reading her books, and this one was no exception. Having sold over a million copies in the UK alone, she is a New York Times bestseller as well as a Sunday Times bestseller. When I actually get the book in my hands and sit down to read it, I'm like a kid on Christmas morning. It felt like a Colleen Hoover book. Livia is a well-written, three-dimensional character, and I found myself relating to her a lot.Adam is a kind-hearted, loving family man who truly wants his wife to have the perfect birthday party. Whew, that was one frustrating, suspenseful race to the finish for me. I just have so much fun reading her books, and this one was no exception. Her last two novels' ideas, I believe, are a result of a lazy writer. One believes his/her secret is damaging. I was right as soon as I had read the first page I was completely hooked and unable to put the book down. B A Paris is the internationally bestselling author of Behind Closed Doors, The Breakdown, Bring Me Back and The Dilemma. With Adam and son Josh helping, everything has been perfectly organised, except for the fact that her daughter Marnie is studying overseas and can't get back for it. This is anything but a mystery or thriller! I found myself in a dilemma with wanting to give up on this one or control my frustration with how dragged out the story felt at times. 2.5 stars — I consider myself a big fan of B.A.

Historically, her books have been thrillers, and this was more of a domestic drama.
With that being said, this could have been so much shorter, even a short story, yet it dragged on for 340 LONG pages! The suspense won out and I kept turning the pages as fast as I could and ended up enjoying this one. I follow Paris on Twitter so have been seeing news of her latest release The Dilemma quite a bit. I wasn’t exactly sure when it was out however, so delayed reading it until after 2020 ticked over. Livia is really excited about the day, and she wants everything to be perfect. I found myself in a dilemma with wanting to give up on this one or control my frustration with how dragged out the story felt at times. It was almost 2 stars but the writing style saved it. And trust me, you don't want this book to be spoilt before you read it.
