I have tried the pool sealers to seal it off, but to no avail.
Once you have these materials, here are the steps you should follow; Fill the spray bottle with water and soap, then, shake vigorously. They decided that a pool wasn't their thing...lol. Being an X10 home automation fanatic, I figured it shouldn't be too hard to rig up an auto-inflator using the electric inflator that came with the set. As a last resort I would buy the wheel at the dealership.Soapy water in a spray bottle works best...Spray the soapy water around the ring after you inflate it and the leak will make a soap bubble...Clean it off and patch with a pool patch kit.Still have questions? Never poke the ring or place sharp or pointy objects on or around it. Problem solved.

My cat used to climb in my Christmas tree and I started spraying it with that and she doesn't seem to like it very well. However after an inflation all the air leaks back out of the inflator after it shuts off. Same problem; no leaks to be found. As the pool fills, the walls rise.
When I patched the holes everything was fine as long as when you get out of the pool you put the cover on right away. First, blow it up as hard as you dare. Ok, Im new here to and to the air ring type pool.

The tear is deep enough in the valve that you would think it wouldn't make a difference, but apparently it does. As the water level rises, the ring floats, thereby erecting the pool's walls. Whew! Hoping this will solve my problem. And, like I said, that pool lasted for 3 summers--air leak and all.Take the tyre to another garage, if you were able to see bubbles from around the rim, then the rim should be the location of the air leak. Then bend over (unless you are pretty short) and go slowly around the outside with your ear a few inches from the middle of the ring.
The only drawback to this type of above-ground inflatable pool is that the top ring can get holes in it, causing it to deflate, and the pool to empty. Re-opening an old thread here.
