The story of Heidi has been told, retold, and most recently captured in a beautiful and heart-warming 2015 German film by Alain Gsponer. I was so happy to find this film, which captures much of the original essence of the novel.
Definitely a must-see for family night! They lost the story's heart and soul in the process.
